Adnan Acık was born in Ankara. He received his BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical-Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He received ‘MSc Thesis Award of the year 1999’ given by Mustafa Parlar Education and Research Foundation with his thesis titled ‘Active Clamped ZVS Forward Converter with Soft Switched Synchronous Rectifier for Maximum Efficiency Operation.’
He worked at ASELSAN / MST Group as a design engineer in the analogue design department and TUBITAK UZAY / Power Electronics Group as a senior and chief researcher. His specialities are power quality, MV harmonic filter design, power electronics, switch-mode power supplies, and he is the founding partner of ENDOKS Energy and working as CTO of Power Quality since 2011.
He likes scuba diving.
