
ERMAN TERCİYANLI
Erman Terciyanlı was born in Niğde in 1981. He began his undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at Middle East Technical University in 1999 and completed his degree in 2004. He earned his master's degree in the same department in 2009. He took a break from his doctoral program, which he began in 2009, in 2014. Although he commercialized his thesis work on “Optimization of Virtual Power Plants” at Inavitas Energy Inc. he ended his doctoral studies at the thesis writing stage due to his increasing responsibilities at the company.
Between 2006 and 2015, he worked as a Researcher and Project Manager at the TÜBİTAK Energy Institute, successfully managing numerous projects in various fields such as electricity transmission, wind and solar energy, energy storage systems, and energy supply security. He began working as a technical manager at the Company in 2015 and assumed the position of General Manager in 2023. He is also a founding partner of Presify Analytic Software Inc.
He has participated in many technical and strategic studies conducted at the national and international levels in the energy sector. He served on the Executive Committee of the European Wind Energy Research Association (TPWind) between 2011 and 2014 and in the ERA-Net Smart Grid Plus Working Group between 2015 and 2018. His areas of expertise include the integration of renewable energy systems into the grid, the digitalization of distribution networks, virtual power plants, and energy management systems; he has contributed to various scientific publications on these topics.
